Dr. Fonnesbeck brings nearly 14 years of multifaceted experience to Aloha Behavioral Consultants. He is board-certified in family medicine, where mental wellness is often first recognized and treated. Dr. Fonnesbeck also spends time covering a rural emergency department giving him first-hand exposure to acute drug and alcohol withdrawal, as well as a mental health crisis. Additionally, he has also gained training in substance abuse treatment with medications such as Suboxone. These experiences have lent to extensive opportunities to educate and treat individuals and families who are seeking to make changes in their lives or get help for those they love. Dr. Fonnesbeck’s training as an osteopathic physician helps keep his focus on the individual’s mind, body and spirit in his treatment approach.
