Andrea Snyder, LCSW
Andrea started out her career as a Registered Nurse, but realized her aspirations were elsewhere and moved into the field of social work. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Weber State University and a Master of Social Work from the University of South Florida. Andrea’s husband is an engineer and they have lived in Florida, New York, North Carolina, and Utah. They have been in Utah for six years and are happy to call it home! Andrea has worked in various aspects of social work as a case manager, crisis worker, and ER crisis therapist. She also has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in an inpatient clinical setting. Andrea helps patients with a variety of trauma related issues, such as depression, self-harm, suicidal ideations, and behavioral concerns. Her areas of expertise are Trauma Informed Care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, and mindfulness techniques. Andrea’s primary goal is for her patients to realize that they have the power within themselves to change their circumstances and live their best life.
