Lulu Mopster, AAT IN TRAINING
Emotional Support Animal
Lulu, born November 20, 2018, one of the most enthusiastic member of the Aloha family, bringing her bright energy to the integrated behavioral health care team. As a natural extrovert, Lulu’s presence creates a calming and comforting environment for patients, particularly those who may feel anxious or resistant to therapy. Her love for meeting new people and her ability to put smiles on faces makes her an invaluable part of the therapeutic process, helping to establish trust and reduce emotional barriers in patients, especially those experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma.
Lulu is working towards becoming certified in Animal-Assisted Therapy (AAT), like her brother Bailey-Hoover, with the goal of enhancing the emotional and social well-being of patients. Until then, she continues to serve as a joyful and carefree companion who helps foster a welcoming, supportive atmosphere that promotes engagement in therapy. Lulu’s ability to connect with patients in a non-threatening way is key in building rapport, making her an essential support in both individual and group therapy sessions.
Lulu works primarily with Cara Webb and Bailey-Hoover, providing emotional regulation and companionship for patients of all ages. Her playful nature, combined with her intuitive understanding of the therapeutic space, helps patients feel safe and valued, making it easier for them to navigate difficult emotions or complex behavioral health challenges. By offering unconditional affection and support, Lulu plays an integral role in the holistic care model at Aloha, contributing to the overall emotional healing and growth of those in treatment.
Lulu’s fun, loving energy is the perfect complement to the clinical approach at Aloha, helping to create a well-rounded, integrated treatment experience that addresses both mental and emotional well-being. All dog lovers are welcome to say hello and experience the joy she brings to the space!
