Tim and his young family were living in Southern California when he graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Master of Science in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy. Tim started his career working with the adult substance abuse population; working with families, couples, and individuals. Tim then moved to Utah in late 2016 and started working with adolescents with substance abuse issues. Later, Tim worked with adolescents with behavioral and sexual misconduct issues in the residential setting. Tim has extensive experience working in this area and has completed many sexual risk assessments. Throughout this time, Tim continued to work with families of all shapes and sizes, including LGBTQ+ populations. Tim firmly believes that even though an individual may come in for their own therapy, working with the family and looking at systems of the individual (school, employment, social, etc.) can help the individual to recognize that they are just a piece of a larger puzzle. Although Tim was born in Louisiana (Geaux Tigers!), he now resides in the rural area of Weber County.
