Melissa received a dual Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Psychology and Gerontology from Weber State University. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix. For the past 20 years, Melissa has been working with adults with substance use disorders, co-occuring disorders, or other maladaptive coping skills. She has a history of working with both court-ordered and self-referred individuals. Melissa is certified in Motivational Interviewing, MRT, SMART Recovery, and Seeking Safety. She has also received ASAM training. Melissa enjoys working with people and truly wants them to succeed at achieving their individual goals.
