Krista Cottrell, MA

Medical Assistant

Krista’s passion for helping others was born early in life, nurtured by her medical family background and childhood experiences accompanying her father on rounds at a nursing home. From the age of three, she witnessed the power of compassionate care, sparking a lifelong dedication to supporting others on their journey to healing.

Today, Krista brings that same empathy and purpose to her work in behavioral health. She holds a deep belief in the power of personal growth, emotional wellness, and the human capacity to heal. Her work is especially inspired by her passion for Spravato therapy, where she has seen firsthand the transformative impact it can have on individuals living with treatment-resistant depression. For Krista, it’s not just about the treatment—it’s about walking beside patients during some of their most vulnerable moments, creating a safe and supportive space where they feel seen, valued, and never alone.

Krista’s professional path is also deeply personal. After experiencing the sudden loss of her husband—the father of her two boys—she was thrust into a journey of profound grief and resilience. In the midst of heartbreak, she discovered a renewed sense of purpose: to help others facing deep loss and emotional challenges find strength, healing, and hope. Her own story has become a testament to the power of compassion, courage, and the will to rediscover joy.

Outside of her clinical work, Krista finds peace and inspiration in nature and creativity. A true country soul, she enjoys woodworking, crafting, exploring scenic trails, and the simple pleasures of small-town life. She cherishes time with her sons, whether it’s watching thunderstorms roll in, attending rodeos, or soaking in the beauty of her favorite season—Fall. These moments ground her and remind her of what truly matters: connection, family, and making meaningful memories.

At Aloha Behavioral Consultants, Krista offers more than just professional support—she offers a warm, welcoming presence that feels like a trusted friend. Whether you’re facing grief, anxiety, depression, or just need someone to talk to, Krista is here to walk with you through life’s hardest seasons, offering encouragement, understanding, and hope every step of the way.

Welcome to Aloha Behavioral Consultants. You don’t have to face this alone—and Krista looks forward to helping you find your path toward healing, strength, and renewed joy.
